Helping people and nature bounce back stronger together.
Alliance for Positive Environmental Impacts & Reforestation (APEARE) is a UNCCD-accredited organization working to restore landscapes and strengthen climate resilience across Nigeria. We work with communities to prepare for climate challenges, restore forests, and build a future where everyone can thrive, no matter the weather.

Building Resilience from the
Ground Up
We’re a team of passionate changemakers helping communities face the realities of climate change – from floods and heatwaves to poor soil and unsafe farming practices. We believe that people already have the wisdom and strength to adapt; we just help unlock it.
Our Programs
Green Resilience
Green Resilience is APEARE’s integrated approach to strengthening communities through nature-based solutions, climate-smart infrastructure, and adaptive planning.
Reforestation
We restore Nigeria’s forests by planting native tree species tailored to each agro-ecological zone.
FARMAES stands for Food and Agriculture Resilience through Multi-functional Agroforestry and Ecological Systems.
